Why Can't I Sleep?
It's the age old question. Why can't I sleep? This seems to happen the most when you are tired. You try your hardest but you just can fall asleep. So what do you do now? You play on your, phone, iPad or computer hoping that you'll fall asleep. For some of us this works. Yay! For others it doesn't. Nay.. But we can't lose hope! We should remember a few things: 1. We will eventually fall asleep (and if that doesn't happen I'm sorry, that kinda sucks for you. Maybe try some NiQuil?) 2. I should not be playing with anything electronic and bright. Even with the brightness turned down, play on these devices makes your brain stimulated and keeps you awake even longer. Here is what i suggest: read a book, it does not have the bright lights and it will help you fall sleep. Something else i suggest is coloring, even if you are an adult there are adult coloring books and this can help you wind down and get you mind off of things. I just want to add on to that when you have lot on you mind that doesn't help you fall asleep, so anything that gets you mind off what you are thinking about will help. The last thing I want to suggest is Googling breathing techniques to help you fall asleep, they really do help. I have tried all of these and they really seem to help. Have a great night y'all!
