College can be one of the best times of your life. You meet a lot of your friends that you will have for the rest of your life. That roommate that was once a stranger is now your best friend, that cute boy that you noticed on the first day of class is your new boyfriend and things just get keep getting better from there. You'll now have tens of hundreds of new friends and friend requests. You'll have new followers on Twitter and Instagram that will actually like your posts because they like you and not because they feel obligated. Those people you never thought you would talk to because you thought you were invisible are now your good friends. You have your friends in your snapchats and not just your pets or family. And right now you probably have Snapchat streaks that go on for days on end. You can go to games and not have to worry if you'll be there by yourself. Things do get better in college you just have to put yourself out there even if you are not a people person or are just shy. These people will be your life long friends I guarantee it. There is a chance you may lose friends throughout college too but that's ok you have hundreds more you can make. Plus you are young and you don't need people in your life that don't need you! And if you ever want to make friends go to a party people there are usually really nice or drunk or both but it makes them fun. Have fun and just let your guard down, you'll never know what will happen!
As for finals, they are just a test. Yes they are big tests, but if you are willing to put in the time and study you will do just fine. If you stress while taking tests or have test anxiety here are some tips from the professional at stressing over tests because of test anxiety.
TIPS:
1. Study little bits at a time. If you have several subjects study little bits of each so you don't feel overwhelmed
2. Take a break ever 30-35 minutes to have a snack and make sure you are drinking lots of water.
3. Listen to music so you can zone out everything around you, I would suggest classical just because its been proven to help people concentrate better because there are no words.
4. Have a study buddy, they can help you stay focused.
5. Relax during the test and if you need to don't think of it as a test.
&6. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE STUDYING!!!
